Timely and aggressive nutrition intervention is a critical component of wound care yet most wound clinics and hospitals do not have a dedicated registered dietitian. This means that the nutritional care of the patient is left to other health professionals who may have limited nutritional knowledge. This session will provide healthcare professionals with critical information on nutrition with a specific focus on needs of patients with wounds.
