Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

All chronic wounds share the characteristic that they were once acute wounds. Accordingly, identifying and understanding the mechanisms that might forecast the conversion of acute to chronicity is critical. This session will review the characteristics of a range of wound types and discuss the potential of modern genomics, personalized medicines and prognostic technologies to predict progression of acute to chronic injury.
