Can we improve the Effectiveness of HBOT in Clinical Practice?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a potential adjunctive tool in the management of hard to heal wounds; however, some systematic reviews assessing its value in treating diabetic wounds had methodological weaknesses.  This session will review HBOT effectiveness versus efficacy in the context of health care and evaluate how to screen patients appropriately for HBOT to improve the cost effectiveness of the therapy by decreasing waste.
