WHS Day 3 General Session - Flies, Fish and Mice: What They Tell us about Wound Healing

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Model organisms including fruitflies, zebrafish and mouse have enabled us to uncover the fundamental and conserved mechanisms that underpin wound healing and have revealed the cells and genes that control wound re-epithelialisation and scarring. These studies have led to potential therapeutic targets to dampen fibrosis and “kick start” chronic wounds.
